DISNEYLAND

We finally made it to Disneyland. And we had the BEST time!!! We left on Sunday after church and took Macady to Alex's cousin's house here in Tucson. We were sad to leave her, but knew the trip would be so much better without her. We had told the kids a little "white" lie and said we were going to grandma's in Utah. The funny thing is they believed us that we didn't want to hear Macady cry the whole way there, and that is why we weren't taking her with us! We got to Disneyland around 8:30 pm and waited to see what the kids would do when they figured out where we were. Berlyn kept saying that there was Mickey stuff everywhere, but she knew we weren't in California! It was great. But when we turned to go to the Disneyland Hotel, she finally asked us if we were at Disney and we said yes! You have never seen three happier kids. They were so excited to be there and when we said we were going to Disney for 3 days, they were bouncing off the walls. The Disneyland Hotel was the best! It made our trip so much better to stay there. Our room was so clean and had Disney stuff everywhere. Even the shampoo bottles had tops that were shaped as Mickey. We got upgraded to a room with a view of the pool which was fun because at night they had a light shining Tinkerbell into the bottom of the pool. Everynight when we got back to the hotel, they had come and turned down our beds and left chocolates on our pillows for us. We were spoiled and will never be able to stay at another hotel at Disneyland. We had three awesome days at both parks and had a wonderful time as a family. Andrew kept telling us he was tall when he couldn't go on a ride, but there was still plenty for him to do. He was able to go on the Matterhorn a few times and loved it except for the "scary ghost". Wes loved all the roller coasters and even went on the Screamer in California Adventure with me. Berlyn loved all the scary rides such as Haunted Mansion, but didn't like the roller coasters, especially Splash Mountain. We got Andy on Splash Mountain without them realizing it and in the middle Berlyn started screaming because she was so scared. Alex and I were laughing so hard, because here she is screaming and Andy is sitting all by himself in front of Alex loving it!!! We did finally get Berlyn on Space Mountain at the very end of our trip and I think we have all agreed that it is our favorite. If you ask Andy he will tell you the Teacups are his favorite, which I laugh about. It was awesome to be there as a family and have so much fun together.

Goofy's Kitchen for breakfast!

Goofy's Kitchen meeting Pluto!

Yeah, we got to meet Mickey!

Huh, I am worried about my daughter's future as a professional poser!!!

Berlyn's birthday with the Princesses. Happy 8th Birthday Berlyn!

Andy loved the princess and was so excited to hug them all. Here he is trying to kiss Belle on the lips. The Mack Daddy!!!!!

Aurora!

You gotta love Wes's googly eyes!!!
We also saw Mulon and Ariel at the Princess dinner.

The Fairy Godmother. We also ran into Handy Manny, Woody, Chip and Dale, The Mad Hatter, Moglie the Bear, and Minnie Mouse. It was so fun to see all the characters and to see the kids faces light up!

On the balcony of our hotel the first morning before we went to Disneyland!

I remember riding the tea cups in Disney World when I was little. We went on them over and over and over and over... There wasn't a line so we'd just run out around and back in to go on them again and again and again and again...

Looks like fun! Did Berlyn come up with that pose on her own? There's really no place like Disneyland.

Berlyn pose was strictly her doing.

Looks like you guys had an awesome time! I have always wanted to stay at the Disneyland hotel, but had been too cheap to pay to stay there. Now after these pictures we'll have to stay there next time.
