Alex & Adrienne

Alex and I met almost 9 years ago in our singles ward. I had every intention of not marrying someone from the singles ward, but that isn't how luck would have it. We started out as friends who were always together and then one day realized that we were in love. We went on a few "actual" dates with our first being for my 21st birthday and we went four wheeling and at at Guadalhonky's in Draper. Alex propsed on December 11, 1999 and we were married on April 6, 2000.

We knew right away that we needed to start a family and we found out we were expecting our first baby the next March. We also decided that we needed to join the Air Force. There are still days were we wonder why we were supposed to do this, but so far it has been the best decision for us.

I love being married to my best friend. Alex makes me so happy to be his wife and the mother of his children. He is gone right now for some advanced telephone trianing and this has been the longest 5 weeks and we still have 6 more weeks to go. But I am grateful for him and all he does for me and our family. I love him so much and can't wait until July 1st when he will be home again.
